I always respect people’s dating preferences here on this blog (which I think I make quite clear), but have you ever noticed that once someone begins dating a thicker person, they typically don’t go back to someone skinnier? It’s not just me, right?

Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith
When it comes to superstar actors who exude sex appeal, Pierce Brosnan is at the top of the list. I mean, he played James Bond for crying out loud. It doesn’t get sexier than that!
Pierce has been able to bag his fair share of women, and over the years, that’s exactly what he’s done. Most of the women he’s dated, such as actress Kathryn Kinley, model Tatjana Patitz, and model Julianne Phillips are straight size.
I’d even go so far as to say they’re perfectly Hollywood slim.
Keely Shaye Smith was just as skinny as the rest of them when she first met Brosnan in 1994. The journalist today is nowhere near the same size as she was back in the ’90s. She’s a lot curvier!

Brosnan hasn’t changed his size, but he’s still accepting of his wife. It just goes to show that even occupying a bigger body isn’t enough to lose the interest or attraction of James Bond himself.
That ought to be a huge confidence booster for many women reading this!
Hip-Hop Superstar Drake
Drake is a celeb who needs no introduction. On more than one occasion, Drake has proudly proclaimed that he appreciates a woman with a bigger body.
You only have to look into his dating history to see such evidence. Drake has spent time with the very curvy Amber Rose, and he seemed infatuated with the athletic curves of superstar Serena Williams.

You only have to look up these women to see that Drake prefers his ladies to have wider hips and backsides that are even bigger. He also doesn’t shy away from women with bigger busts to match.
While some of his dating partners and infatuations have been straighter-size women, Drake definitely seems to have a type, and it’s not stick-thin women, either!
Actor Jamie Foxx
Many people remember Jamie Foxx dating Katie Holmes because a.) it lasted longer than anyone expected and b.) it came so out of left-field.
Despite what that relationship might have made you think, Foxx doesn’t really prefer skinny gals like Kate so much.
He has, as this Female First blurb reports, an obsession with bigger butts. He also prefers his ladies curvy, even if the butt obsession trumps everything else for him.
So why the lusting over large derrieres? Foxx admits that bigger butts remind him of a long-ago childhood crush.
Strange reasoning aside, Jamie Foxx is another actor with much critical acclaim who has no problem admitting that he likes a curvier gal.
Now, it’d be nice if his dating history reflected that. Holmes, actor Olivia Munn, and actor Stacey Dash, as appealing as they are, just don’t match the body type that Foxx is supposedly obsessed with.
People Loving Lizzo
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then I’m sure you’re familiar with Lizzo. She’s only one of the biggest hip-hop superstars on the planet right now.
The thing about Lizzo is she occupies a much bigger body than most rappers in the game. She’s not like Nicki Minaj, who only has a large butt; Lizzo is larger than life in every possible way.
People first clamored to her for her body-positive lyrics, but Lizzo has continued to forge a chart-topping career for herself and even makes a body-inclusive line of shapewear called Yitty.
And everyone honestly cannot get enough. When she posts thirst traps on social media (c’mon, I’m not really sure what else I’m supposed to call them!), you’ll, of course, see some people being disparaging because of her size.
The majority of comments, though, are heart-eye emojis and plenty of “queen” and “beautiful” remarks. Lizzo gets the same sort of treatment any celebrity would when she posts a selfie or a full-body shot.
The difference is that Lizzo occupies a very different body than all those ladies, yet she’s still loved and lauded as if she was smaller.
Is there a single time you can think of a bigger female celeb who got the same kind of adulation? I really cannot, and it’s honestly so refreshing to see. Lizzo is making huge strides for bigger women as a whole, and it’s great that the whole world is on her side!
The Biggest Busts and Bodies Throughout Hollywood
Of course, Lizzo isn’t the only gal redefining what an attractive woman in Hollywood looks like. There are all sorts of examples of ladies out there proudly flaunting their curves and getting the same sort of love as Lizzo in response.
Kim Kardashian is at the top of the list, of course. I know, I know, her curves are surgically enhanced, but they’re there, nevertheless, and that’s important. The Kardashians helped usher in a preference for curvier ladies in the 2000s that sadly didn’t stick.
Well, the most diehard curve lovers don’t care what decade it is. They still love a woman with a bigger body.
Kim and her sisters helped bring curvy into the mainstream and perhaps even paved the way for women like Lizzo to have the platform that she does today.
Kelly Clarkson, the superstar singer, is another example of a woman with a bigger body who’s completely unapologetic.
Her size has fluctuated throughout her career, and although she occupies a bigger body now than she did when she first got started, it hasn’t stopped her from being afforded awesome career opportunities like judging on The Voice.
Adele was once about the same size as Kelly Clarkson. She skyrocketed to fame despite her bigger size and had quite a hugely successful career for years before she decided to slim down.
Christina Hendricks is a very talented actress known for two things. You know what they are. Her curves, which are out of this world, are hugely adored by just about everyone.
What Is It About Curvy Bodies That Are So Alluring?
A curvy body, as I hope I’ve proved, is irresistible to lots of people. Here are some very convincing reasons why so many just cannot get enough!
So Many Curves in All the Right Places
A full-figured woman has curves in all the places that men want, including the breasts, hips, and rear.
Since those curves are so infinitely desirable, most men look right past the curves in areas that women feel are the wrong places, such as the stomach and arms.
Rather than shy away from your size, try embracing it. You must have a feature or several that you like about yourself. Play up those areas the next time you go out.
If you still feel too self-conscious about your trouble areas, you can try shapewear or styles that draw the eye towards certain body parts and away from others.
They’re Soft and Warm
Curvy girl hugs are the best, hands down. It’s not even a debate. There’s just so much warmth and softness enveloping you like a big, comfy, downy pillow. That’s a nice way to end your day and start every morning!
Evokes Femininity
Curves signal that a woman is both healthy and feminine. She has wider hips that can bear children without difficulty, and men instinctively find this very attractive.

I’ve also discussed this on the blog, but since curvier women have more subcutaneous fat, they tend to avoid many signs of aging that a skinnier woman would succumb to first.
You don’t have to worry about your cheeks hollowing out, making you look old and gaunt. Your neck won’t become full of loose, wobbly skin like a turkey neck.
You’ll have a proudly more youthful visage for many years to come. Who doesn’t want to look younger? Exactly!
Don’t Have to be a Gym Rat
Men tend to feel pressure to look a certain way as well, and it can get to them. Unlike women, men don’t have an outlet to talk about that pressure to nearly the same extent.
Dating a curvy woman is a much more relaxed experience. If a fella was a gym rat just to keep up appearances, he won’t feel quite as much of that pressure to work out four times a week anymore. He can have pizza and beer instead of salad all the time.

I think it’s fair to say that once you go thick, most people never go stick again. I don’t want to knock skinny gals at all; just celebrate bigger bodies, as they don’t get nearly the same share of the spotlight.
